Pro Signs, a national leader and full-service signage manufacturer located in Downingtown, Pa, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic.

In this position, you will be tasked with inspecting, diagnosing and repairing faulty shop equipment, trucks and company wide maintenance issues. You will be asked to handle spur of the moment mechanical issues as well as support preventative maintenance practices. You will also be asked to report and track all maintenance and services that are being performed.

If you are mechanically inclined, have experience working shop equipment, forklifts, commercial vehicles (Boom trucks, cranes, trailers, flatbeds), engines, motors, electrical components, and have a general all around mechanical ability this may be the position for you!

Requirements:

•  Experience with forklifts and Industrial machinery.
•  Experience with commercial vehicles. (Bucket Trucks, Cranes, etc.) a plus.
•  Experience with hand tools, power tools, etc.
•  Attention to detail.
•  Must have a valid driver’s license.
•  Must be able to lift 50lbs.
•  Must be able to work as part of a team.
•  Must have technical / basic computer skills (Office, outlook, word , excel)
•  Overtime is available.

Welding, Electrical, or Diesel experience is a plus as is general all-around mechanical ability.

In this position, you will be using your mechanical ability to create a variety of sign products such as building signs, vinyl graphics and sign structures for business organizations such as: gas stations, restaurants, schools, hospitals, banks and small businesses. In this position, you will remove, install, and repair commercial signage, such as building signs, vinyl graphics, and other sign structures for businesses and organizations. Key Responsibilities:

• Install various types of building signs, vinyl graphics, and sign structures for businesses and organizations.
• Signage installation on poles, buildings, billboards, and other structures.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
• Ensure the measurement, placement, connection, and installation of signage is precise to assigned standards.
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
• Load and transport signs, tools, and materials to the client’s location.
• Service and repair signage.
• Remove old signage.
• Clear debris and other materials after completion of the project.

Candidate Requirements:

• Two years experience as a sign installer or similar position.
• Electrical, Welding, other mechanical experience helpful.
• Attention to detail and precision is a must.
• Requires outside work year round.
• Strong organizational and ability to read install drawings for specs.
• Hardworking and reliable.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Tree work or related bucket truck experience helpful as you’ll need a comfort level with heights.
• On-Site and ongoing training.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.

In this position, you will be working in the face department operating the vacuum forming machine.

Job Details:

• Pro Signs is a well-established sign company with an immediate opening for a full-time Vacuum Forming Assistant.

• Operating the vacuum forming machine.
• Cutting plastic from coil or sheet to size
• Assembly of CNC cut MDF molds

• Ensuring daily that the department is set up for the next day, with the plastic dryer loaded and a timer set
• Staging and controlling plastic waste for removal.

Pro Signs, a 77-year-old signage and branding company based near Philadelphia, PA, is expanding and seeking to add a Project Manager to our team.

As one of the largest full-service sign companies in the Mid-Atlantic, Pro Signs specializes in regional and national account work as well as local architectural signage projects. As a Project Manager for Pro Signs, you will be managing multiple branding/signage projects from the initial sale through production, installation, and close-out. You will communicate with customers and respond to inquiries regarding both products and services. A Pro Signs Project Manager is responsible for tracking and managing all milestones throughout the entire lifespan of assigned projects, while consistently communicating with the clients, and the Department Director.

You will coordinate the status of projects through the appropriate departments including Design, Permitting, Engineering, Estimating and Installation. The Project Manager also serves as the interface with subcontracted installers, vendors and service providers to ensure projects are completed and installed as planned.

Applicant must be experienced in Project Management, customer service, and overseeing multiple projects and or clients at one time.

• Capable of managing a room via in person, conference and, or web calls
• Ability to analyze costs and improve overall profit
• Proficiency in Windows/MS Office, Word and Excel

• Possesses a minimum of two-year’s construction, customer service and/or project management experience.
• Experience in the signage and branding industry.
• Experience in coordination of multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to analyze a variety of situations and effectively solve problems.
• Able to build solid “partner” relationships with both customers and subcontractors on behalf of Pro Signs Company
• Business to Business Sales a plus.
